I designed a western inspired print and slim box as a vessel for a birthday gift for my friend. The gift was a bolo tie (unfortunately, I don't have a photo of it). The design was inspired by both the gift itself and my friend's love of spaghetti western films.

I executed the pattern in Adobe Illustrator using vector art. Using a single colour, creating a clean look easy for printing. The box design was intentionally created as a 'no glue' solution so it folds together seamlessly with slats at the bottom that secure the box together. The die line was also executed in Adobe Illustraror with exact measurements for printing.
