This is my take on a tour poster for the band The Strokes. The concept was inspired by their new studio album and upcoming world tour, Reality Awaits. A lot of the visual content surrounding the album leans heavily into sci-fi themes and 80s nostalgia, so I wanted to build on that atmosphere while still making the design feel personal and original to my style. The hand emerging from the sky symbolizes the unknown, while the figure looking upward represents someone waiting to be pulled out of fantasy and forced into reality. I wanted the composition to feel cinematic and slightly surreal, almost like a moment frozen in a dream. The entire composition was created in Adobe Photoshop using a combination of sourced imagery from Pexels.com. The typography and final layout design were completed in Adobe InDesign.
